Harvest Moon Teasers

While playing Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town for the GBA, I lost inspiration in my SNES Harvest Moon hacks. This turned out to be a good thing, as I began rushing to finish some final ASM changes (which re-inspired me).
A horse on the mountain?

A new litter?

If you don't know what's wrong here, get a clue.

I've started working on a different hack with two main goals:
1) Make the game more "realistic".
2) Give the game more replay value.

What's done so far?:
1) Each girl has a skill. Nina, for example, grew up taking care of plants. Marry her and your crops will grow a little faster. Each girl will have a different skill. So far, I've coded this for all of the girls except Eve. Hers will be a lot harder to code. To make up for it, Maria has 2 skills... That makes 5 skills total so far. To see what they are, you'll have to get married and pay attention.
2) You can now make offerings to the Harvest Goddess. If you do, she'll automatically harvest some of your crops, but at a reduced rate. Offerings are done at the same pond you got the golden axe.
3) Eat each day. Stay out of the rain. Go to bed on time. Keep lots of lumber in the winter. These are things the villagers have always told you. Now, they are true. Your maximum stamina will go up/down accordingly.
4) Night no longer goes on forever. It goes on to about 4am (your watch still says 6pm). At that point, the screen fades to black and you wake up on your ranch... Late. Yes, you can get tired and sleep in now. At some point, I hope to add a palette change to signify the sunrise and have you actually collapse.
5) Very minor level changes, for testing purposes.

What isn't done, but planned?:
1) More... More wives, events, crops, areas, etc...
2) Jack will die.
3) I'm so damn close to making the horse run off your ranch it's not funny.
4) Graphic changes.
5) Level changes (in and out of buildings).
6) Text... Lots and lots of text... And this is where Eve's skill comes in.

When can you expect a release?:
I'll be doing a teaser release soon. Possibly in September 2008.
